It takes a gutsy gal to don any variation of the mermaid style, meant to hug every single curve--unwanted or not. So when I saw a plethora of them on the red carpet, I was more than impressed, even inspired to follow suit. I guess I better start hitting the gym.
I am torn between 'Weeds' star Mary-Louise Parker and Kate Beckinsale to pick my fave. ML takes a softer interpretation, with a chiffon bottom flare that complements the tiers that hug her upper body. But then again the drama that Kate brings at her neckline is so glam, and I love how she paired her white dress with big, loud earrings. How's a girl to pick?
