An awesome comeback, no?

Okay, maybe that awful 90s summer smash won't EVER come back (although if you're anything like me, I know you find yourself humming that catchy tune)

but thong sandals are perfect for the summer. Here in SoCal its been sandal season for a while, so it'd be nice to get yourself ready with a pair.

Of course, I'm lusting for these Manolos ($745) availabe at Barneys...the T-thong flat with ankle straps are easy to slip on, all the while dressing it up with the charms. The brown leather will go great with jeans. Don't you just love the antique-y jewels? On the other hand, the Cynthia Vincent pair ($268) has my go-to color for this summer (notice the new blog design??) and the yellow straps with the funky jewels will so make your tanned feet look stunning.

A here's my pick. It's a nice alternative to the Rainbow sandals I live in, and I love that the navy is super versatile--especially since navy is totally starting to take over my closet. The best part? The itty bitty price tag, only $12.99 at Target. I don't see it on their website anymore, but I just found this pair this week, so go a scouring your nearest Target!

So it rained last night here in Sunny Southern California, setting off the warning bell for an upcoming major style overhaul--mostly on the bottom. I know I'm not the only one that hates wet hemlines and soggy shoes, but I take it to the extreme: I have a strict, no jeans/shoes policy on a rainy day. I went as far as wear shorts and flip-flops to school. I take my policies very seriously.

So to save myself of inappropriate apparel and of course, blue toes, I'm thinking Sperry Boots from Bloomingdale's ($65). I'm really short, so the platform is a nice plus, and I grew out of that classic rain boots look back when I thought jumping into puddles was fun (which it still sometimes is). The button detail makes this so adorably cute and wearable. Pair it with my rainy day essential: warm cozy leggings or tights, and you're good to go.
