I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, and I don't plan to leave anytime soon! But I do secretly wish I could live in NY and wear adorable coats... shh! A lot of my style is inspired by my awesome hometown.

My taste is somewhat simple, and I love to incorporate trends in a subtle way and try to make it a bit more timeless. Neutrals dominate my color palette, but I like to add a splash of color here and there. I'm all about balance when it comes to fashion and beauty, and think of ways to put the focus on just one area--don't expect anything too "out there" from me.

I love to try out new beauty products, and love department store and drugstore brands equally. I'm a total sucker for mascara and lip gloss. Can't get enough of 'em. But when it comes to shows on TV, I always have it on Food Network and HGTV, so you'll be seeing some posts on that too.
